The Best Baked Parm/Marinara Zucchini Recipe EVER! 

 

Are you looking for new zucchini recipe? This baked zucchini recipe is about to become your new favorite veggie side or even main course!  

This is definitely one for the books. I do have some good news and bad news. The good news is it is quick and easy! The bad news is it will leave you wishing you bought more zucchini. So grab a towel! It’s about to get mouth watering. 

 

Ingredients You Need:

 

  1. Zucchini (1 to 2 Med. depending on the size)
  2. Garlic Salt 
  3. Olive Oil
  4. Parmesan
  5. Marinara 
  6. Salt
  7. Pepper
  8. Fresh Parsley 

 

 

How To Make The Best Zucchini EVER! 

 

 

  1. Preheat oven, Prepare baking sheet: First preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Line your pan with foil and brush over the foil with a very thin layer of olive oil until covered.

2. Slice and Place Zucchini: Then cut your zucchini in slices about an half inch thick. After you chop your Zucchini up, space them out in a few lines on the baking sheet. Let them sit in the oil for about a minute and then flip them over so both sides have a little bit of oil on them.

 

3. Season the Zucchini: (Salt/Pepper/Garlic Salt) After you oil your baking sheet you’re only going to use about ½ salt and ½ tsp of pepper. Now I really like garlic salt but we HAVE to remember there is salt already on it. So Only use about ½ tsp to  ¾ tsp of Garlic Salt

4. Apply the Marinara: After your zucchini is seasoned you’re going to take a table spoon of marinara and go around to each zucchini slice and put a dab of marinara sauce on each slice.

5. Parmesan Placement: Now you’re going to take a spoon and give each slice of zucchini about ½ tsp to a tsp of Parmesan. After they all have an even amount you’re going to go around with the back of the spoon and smooth the cheese out gently. Try not to make it go off the sides or move the sauce too much. It usually just takes a light tap.

6. Parsley Party:  After the Parmesan its time to add the parsley! For this part put as much as you want on there. I use about 2 tps. Then Stick it in the oven!

7. Cook and Broil: Then you’re going to cook it on 350 degrees for about 12 minutes and then broil it on high for about 2-3 minutes to make the cheese a little brown. Make sure you check the middle before taking it out. These should be so soft that you won’t even need a fork.

 

8. Then Time to Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
